Answering the Call...There is Still Time!
Written by Doug Hunter

“I can’t afford NOT to be there!!”

That is the response I’m hearing more and more as we get closer and closer to the 30th Annual FCCI Fall Conference.  At a time like this, it’s not the normal considerations that rise to the top – cost, time, etc. – it’s the return on the investment from such an amazing opportunity.  Consider the return from investing in these resources:

You’ve seen the incredible lineup of platform speakers – Dr. Os Guinness (author of The Call and The Case for Civility among many others); Dr. Henry Blackaby (continually unpacking the joy of Experiencing God in our businesses); Horst Schulze (Founding President of the Ritz Carlton Hotels, and a powerful voice for excellence as essential in our corporate witness for Jesus Christ);  Kent Humphreys (FCCI’s Ambassador, and  a clear, practical voice for the Business As Ministry/Mission Movement); and, of course, our host, Walt Wiley.

We will also hear a special update from Alan Sears, President of the Alliance Defense Fund, giving us a sense of the big picture issues that are making their way through the congress and the court system in the U.S. (FCCI helped found ADF)

Add to the plenary sessions 18 powerful Breakouts, including …

- An opportunity to dialogue with Os Guinness

- An interactive session with Alan Sears

- Dudley Rochelle Carter (Partner in the firm of Littler, Mendelsson, PC) working through the practical aspects of new laws and regulations impacting Christians in the workplace

- Walt Wiley speaking to Young Executives

- Walt returning to engage the other end of the leadership spectrum, the Legacy Leader

- Horst Schulze dealing with the development of an excellent service organization

- Mats Tunehag coming from Sweden to update us on the global  Business As Mission (BAM) movement (Mats is the BAM liaison to the Lausanne Conference on World Evangelization)

- FCCI US Field Director, Steve Campbell, leading a panel to uncover “How to Thrive … Even in a Meltdown”

- FCCI Vice President of International Ministry, Jon Shaw, leading a panel focused on “Increasing Your Business Ministry Impact..... Especially in Turbulent times!”

- Social Networking … Get on or Get Left Behind!  Driven by Mike Reynolds from Reno, NV.

- Guerilla Warfare & Developing an Intercessory Team for Your Company – the specialty of Jim Anthony from Raleigh, NC

- A panel Just for Women

- And then there are these … Bill Bliss (Leadership), Bill Moeny (Prayer), John Duncan (Keeping on Track), Bob Befus (Journey from Entrepreneurship Toward Organizational Excellence), Terry Parker and Bryan Green (exit strategy), help for group leaders (old and new)

Now add opportunities to celebrate all God is doing in and through companies around the world … time to develop relationships with men and women who are walking in your shoes and experiencing your challenges … a relaxed schedule designed for restoration … and all of this bathed in an atmosphere of prayer and worship facilitated by Alan Wiltshire.

It’s a great investment, with the potential for a God-sized return.  Can you afford to not be there?  Go to www.fcci.org and resister today!!

See you in Naples!
